Another trip to the beach ...

This time Skyler and I headed to St. Pete beach to visit some good friends, Gabbie, Kayla and Karen. We went paddle boating, built castles, rode the waves and went swimming in the pool. Skyler had a blast and acted like he owned the beach!

Note the chocolate mouth ... he also had plenty of oreos on the beach :)

We're Thinking Pink ...

June 10th … we took Skyler to our 20 week OB appointment to see pictures of his little sister. He was very patient and the sono tech even gave him a picture of his own to keep. We were so excited to get confirmation that the baby is a girl!!! So, the Fletcher’s are currently thinking pink! We also got to see one of our favorite doctor’s at the practice, Dr. Yaeger.

Actually, we are thinking pink, black and white to be specific. We (and by we, I really mean I) have decided to do a shabby chic themed room with black, white and pink. Needless to say, the crafting bug has caught a hold of me. See future posts for pictures of Addy’s new room adornments.

June 2011 Vacation

Another post where I will have to keep my fingers crossed that I can find the memory card that has all the pictures that accompany this adventure!

Vacation in Orlando … For our summer vacation this year, we decided to do a “Staycation” in Orlando. We thought it would be nice to get some good family time in before all the “change” in October. Needless to say we had a blast!!! We stayed at a condo resort that had waterslides and putt putt! Skyler was so brave riding the slides by himself!! He made us play mini golf every morning before going to the waterpark … with weather in the 90’s, it was not exactly what I looked forward to!!!

Of course no trip to Orlando would be complete without a trip to see Kayden. Skyler and Kayden played so hard it brought back so many nostalgic memories of them as little boys … I’m playing the pregnant and emotional card for this one. They wrestled, played soccer, went to Sunbeams together, and went to see Kung Fu Panda 2 (I’m not sure how we made it through several days of play without one picture of them playing together). BIG thank you to Adam and Brie for allowing us to crash their place for playtime during their move!

We also made a stop at the Temple (which is always so beautiful). Of course half way around the temple Skyler had to go potty, so we had to rush back to the Stake Center.

Finally, we went to Downtown Disney. We had a blast listening to music and visiting the toy, lego, and Ghirardelli stores.

Happy Anniversary!

June 7th 2011 … Today we celebrated our 8 years and counting! Grandma and Grandpa Fletcher were in town so we snuck out for a yummy anniversary dinner at the melting pot. I am truly grateful for the last 8 years and couldn’t imagine my life without my wonderful husband!

Skyler has finally decided to start pooping on the potty again. Of course this was not without some major bribes (hungry hungry hippos, skates, puzzle, etc.), which is bad I know, but it’s working. Maybe we can get this all sorted out by the time his little sister gets here!!!
